Cannabidiol (CBD) Oil

Getting hold of CBD after the Cannabis Legalisation Referendum

We want to clarify a few common questions we're still getting about CBD if the referendum goes through.

The referendum is purely a vote on recreational cannabis, there are no proposed medical cannabis changes. CBD oil will remain a prescription medicine, even if the vote passes.

The government currently has no immediate plans to reclassify CBD if cannabis is legalised, but we believe it would help generate public pressure to revise the status of CBD as a prescription medicine to an over the counter supplement.

Making your own CBD Oil

A passed vote and an implemented Bill will allow people to grow their own cannabis plants, up to 2 plants per person, with a maximum of 4 plants per household. If you're willing to put the time in to take care of some plants, you'll be able to grow and make your own CBD oil.

While you won't know the exact dosages you're getting without getting your homemade oil tested, you will be able to grow high CBD, low THC cannabis plants in the realm of 10% CBD, 0.2% THC, from which you can extract and bottle the oil pretty easily at home.
